Baldur's Gate 3

DOS 3 not baldur's gate 3

Waited 20 years for this, & it was too bad to continue trying early access. Issues- *Holding Tab doesn't highlight things you can interact with. It's such a glaring error I spent 5 min looking at settings to see if they had just moved it. Nope, not included. *Items & units have a staggeringly small amount of targetability. It felt like playing operation trying to place cursor clicks properly. *Map is all over the place, scrolling can put you into unfinished "In-between" very easily, visually it's just jarring. *The companions are really unlikeable. Like y'all didn't have to bring back Minsc & boo (they really should have). I am anxious because of monster eye bug, and so are they. That reality is a bummer, and all the dialog is stressed/stressful in the first 5 hours. *Crashing. 4x in the first hour, worked a lil better past the initial area. I figure this will obviously improve, but charging 60$ to send crash data feels a little frustrating. *Combat. It's just a DOS port tbh. I played (And even liked) DOS 2, but the turned based system was/is their system. Baldur's gate, Neverwinter, Icewind dale, ect... were built around RTWP, which I honestly didn't know there were so many haters of. It's disrespectful to the fans of a franchise to not include the combat system that defined the game. Other RPG's have invested the time to include both Turned based, and RTWP. Saying "MoAr PEoPle WanT TurNed BasEd!!" to justify porting over a combat system they already had is lazy af. *Before ya' get salty- I like Turned based games as well, but when it's done well like Darkest Dungeon, or POE 2.
