You could safely say that im a heroes 3 fanatic, and it was almost impossible for to accept the major changes they did to the game. It seems to me that the warm atmosphere of heroes 3 is completely gone. But they have done changes that are really exiting, it is almost worth playing just because of the new experience system, another change that led me completely unaware was that the hero can in fact die during a battle, if your hero is a mage with low hp, you might die battle really fast. Try the game, give it some hours, but do not expect it to be in the same style as heroes 1,2, and 3.
Sometimes i find my-self pushing old games on friends, and sometimes they give up. I know what amazing gameplay hides itself behind poor graphics and dumb npc`s. However, they do not, so they judge the game by the graphics. I had never played this game before, but since there is so many amazing comments about this game i continued, even though i was tempted to trash it when i saw my companion ( A floating skeleton skull). I hope that the gamers without nostalgic memories will continue their journey through the planes. This has become one of my favorite games!
