The game is by no means a Heroes of Might and Magic 3 clone – in some aspects it feels better – good game design decisions in the form of army and hero limits that curb certain tedious and boring strategies and shorten player turns, so far better balance, campaign story worth reading through and a community that is bustling with life . In other aspects it is worse – especially the atmosphere, visual design and music imo – but that's a bar set very high and, mind you, those aspects are still at a competent level. With the level of balance and amount of content the game could easily pass as a finished title rather than early access, and a finished title very much worthy of your time. Claims of AI cheating *a bit* seem kind of true, at least in the campaign mode, but you can still finish it and enjoy it (I certainly did). Two thumbs up from me. I'll be playing the game for a long time.
