Hollow Knight: Silksong

More of the same but better!

Probably too hard for many people. I am not great with this style of game ( I did finish Hollowknight) however it's been pretty smooth so far, the angled pogo was frustrating initially especially in one area that is a run back for a boss but, I got used to it and you will too. The only fault I can find is that sometimes the rewards for difficult exploration feel lackluster.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector

Far exceeded my expectations.

Starward vector is a better game than Citizen sleeper in almost every way. The depth of characters and the meaningful decisions you must make are deeply fulfilling. The developer has outdone themself. If you love RPGs, science fiction and thoughtfully written stories, Starward vector is the game for you.

Citizen Sleeper

Thought provoking, endlessly endearing!

An experience worthy of your time.

Cyberpunk 2077

It's good.

The game has come a long way but dtill has bugs here and there. I was also rather dissapointed that I waited nearly a year for FSR and it was an out of date and inferior version.

Cyberpunk 2077

Genuinely disappointing.

Cyberpunk 2077 feels like a tech demo for RTX that had a game tacked on. I have had endless bugs including two game breaking bugs that caused a restart at around for and eight hours in, respectively. I pushed ahead and was lucky that I did not get another game breaker on a story mission. I have close to four hours of horrendous bugs and quest/questlines that just fail to progress. I had two sets of hands one of which was fully extended mantis blades and the other my actual hands. This bug persisted for nearly three hours even after restarting the game, restarting the system, and installing all three of the other arm weapon options. The arms returned to normal for no discernable reason when I crashed into a car while riding a motorcycle. Thankfully, I only had three crashes. During key points of the final few missions I had to reload the game several times as the characters would get stuck in conversation or on objects, ruining my immersion completely. The performance is all over the place. Pop in is exceptionally bad in certain areas regardless of graphics settings. The RPG mechanics are awfully basic especially regarding skill trees with the primary benefits being ad 5% damage or charge a weapon faster. There are some that stand out but for the most part it is awfully simple, and many skills make skills in other trees redundant. Your choices matter does a degree however you more or less get a different skin of the same ending no matter what choices you make (with one being “better” than the others). The writing in the game is incredibly inconsistent, some quests and story lines truly immersed me in the world that is Night City and the lives of the characters I was interacting with however there were moments in the game where I physically cringed at the dialogue. This game is not worth your money.
