What's left to be said that hasn't been said before? You farm, you fish, you socialize, you explore. What each mechanic lacks in nuance it gains in ease and, as a package, it makes for an enjoyable experience.
Really makes you feel like cockroach evading death under incredulous circumstances.
Maybe it's because this is the first puzzle game I've played in a while, but I'm having more fun than I was expecting.
It's ahead of its time, brimming with character yet heavily limited in some of the aspects fundamental to the medium. I want to see more of the world this game creates, and I commend its ability to engross its audience in that way. But as a video game? It fails to live up to its potential. I will be playing it again, though. I wish I could rate it 3.5, so I guess I'll round up.
Great game, beyond its time. A bit buggy and unbalanced in places, but overall a great experience bettered by a great story. You could almost say it just works.
