There is something about this game that makes it really satisfying to play. Maybe it's the beautiful animations or maybe it's the difficulty level that is just right (not to hard, not too easy), or maybe it's the variety it gives by combining elements of rougelike and metroidvania genres. I don't know what it is exactly, but it certainly works. I beat the game a few years back and now I'm playing it again and it still provides me with tons of fun. Highly reccomended!
This game has it all - nice graphics, cool mini games, gathering, combat, friendships and a dog. Only downsides are: the music is really repetitive and gets boring really fast, also there is quite a lot of grind when collecting materials for upgrades (especially wood is difficult to gather for some reason). When using controller sometimes input seems a bit clunky, but overall this game is a very pleasant experience.
