I don't understand why game developers feel the need to insert misogynistic slurs like "wh**e" in their games. It doesn't make the game better, more mature, edgier, or more immersive. It just makes me think the game is made by misogynists and targeted at incels, and I stop being able to enjoy it. If I weren't past the return period, I would return it.
It is really disappointing to know that the developers treat the female playable character as an afterthought. No one bothered to create an epilogue for the female character with the correct pronouns, and apparently no one bothered playtesting as a female character. After all this time, even with a remastered release, no one has seen fit to fix the epilogue for the female character. It really leaves a bad taste in your mouth finishing the game only to have the narrator misgender your character.
Don't get this DLC unless you've got a thing for corporations and slave trading. This DLC adds features that will only annoy you, especially the very problematic way it implements a slave market. Wish I'd read that other review that mentioned it.
