STAR WARS™ Battlefront (Classic, 2004)

Same game as it was 21 years ago

Ever since they remastered Star Wars BattleFront 1 and 2 for the current generation consoles, in doing so, they had removed the abaility to play them on the Xbox One if you had the original disc copies. I decided to buy BattleFront 1 for PC on here and it has been well worth it. Either GoG or the game will detect controllers plugged in, so that is very helpful, unlike Steam where you have to jump through a bunch of hoops to make it work, then pray they don't update it and it doesn't remember you controller or control button binds. Overall, same game as it was back in 2004. I'm running the game on an Asus Q55L from like 2015 with an i7 and 940m graphics card and there has been no issues. Yes the game still freezes on loading screesn, but unlike the console versions, it eventually gets going without issue.

RollerCoaster Tycoon® Deluxe

Rollercoaster Ride down Memory Lane!

I only ever grew up playing the base game of Rollercoaster Tycoon. So getting the deluxe edition opened up way more to me than ever before. Corkscrew Follies, well folly is defintely accurate. This expansion is a lot harder than the original game and I've been having to use guides to get me through it. The parks and rides that had been added on, add their own complexities and quirks. Even being nearly 150 hours in, there's quite a bit of trial, error, and failures. Rollercoaster Tycoon, was a game I grew up playing in the early 2000s. Friends of mine got the game and then copied it to a disc for me and that's how I played it. Over my life, I've probably purchased or was gifted three separate copies of the game, this would make four for me at this point. I struggled playing this game as a kid. As an adult, its a lot easier, knowing how everything kind of works. But the expansions are a whole other animal, that I am still trying to tame. If you grew up in the 90s and 2000s, this game is a great game to bring back memories.
