Zombie Shooter

A zombie version of AS1... after AS2

This game is a zombie version of Alien Shooter 1 released two years after Alien Shooter 2 and is therefore a downgrade from Alien Shooter 2 as it basically cancels all of the evolutions from Alien Shooter 1 to Alien Shooter 2 to revert to Alien Shooter 1's archaic state which means no story, no characters, no dialogues, no perks, a complete reversal to Alien Shooter 1's basics cancelling Alien Shooter 2's improvements so why would you even bother with the prototype games Alien Shooter 1 and Zombie Shooter 1 when you can already play the finished products Alien Shooter 2 and Zombie Shooter 2?

Alien Shooter 2: Reloaded

I prefer Shadowgrounds but...

First thing first, this is not a RPG so if you found this game because you were browsing GOG's RPGs and this game is (wrongly) classified as a RPG then forget it because if upgradable stats is all it takes to make a "RPG" then basically every game without an open-world full of characters, dialogues, choices, consequences, stories and quests is a RPG as long as you can upgrade some stats, right? Or wrong? Moreover, even though Shadowgrounds is not classified as a RPG, it is far deeper than this basic shoot'em up game which is not a horror game either by the way. Which brings me to my second point. Secondly, I played this game after Shadowgrounds and I found this game to be a poor clone of Shadowgrounds, therefore I recommend Shadowgrounds over this. However... Thirdly, this game here features one perk absent from Shadowgrounds which made it especially fun to me which is the hypnotist perk which manipulates your enemies to turn against each other and ignore you while you root for your brainwashed team and support them by shooting the free-minded enemies, turning enemy assaults into civil wars disorganizing them to your mischievous advantage and what a pleasure to turn your enemies against each other. This is the only perk of this game as without it, this is an average shoot'em up which doesn't hold a candle to Shadowgrounds, period.

Sacred Gold

An apology to emptiness

I honestly feel like writing a review as empty as the game itself because this game inspires me emptiness since I spent my time exploring an empty world devoid of ambience as it features barely any music to put me in the mood and I feel that I just wasted days of my limited lifetime exploring the silence of this empty world which would make Proust proud of this apology to emptiness and convinced me that musics should never be underestimated to create an ambience motivating playing the game because playing a silent game annihilates its fun, period.
