Remorse: The List

What??

Bro, how does this game have 4.1/5 stars??? Am I missing something?? I'm sorry but this is a 2.5, maybe a 3 at best. First of all, it's not even scary. Maybe it'd be scary to a 5 year old, but this hardly counts as "horror". Some of the enemies are even comical. Like the guys rolling around in office chairs. Seriously?? LOL! Secondly, the map...is straight up...poo poo. Like, why is there no cursor or icon showing you where you are? It would be fine if the streets were properly labeled or landmarks were easily identifiable, but nope. I know, I know, "sKiLl iSsUe", but still. It's not even clear as to where you're supposed to go or what you're supposed to do. Ffs the first puzzle I encountered used candy, ice cream and amusement park rides for reference! Perhaps it has something to do with the story, I dunno, but still. Corny af. Finally, third, it just hardly felt like a horror game. The atmosphere isn't scary. The music is barely scary. Some of enemies animations are KINDA creepy but it's nothing I've never seen before. They're also really bullet-spongey and almost impossible to kill using melee attacks without them hitting you almost every single time you get close. Really annoying. I will give the game some brownie points for running buttery smooth and being pretty well optimized, though. Other than that it's pretty subpar. All in all, don't waste your time or money. Get something better, like Amnesia The Bunker.

UNCHARTED™: Legacy of Thieves Collection

Murphy's Law Walking Simulator

Not a bad game by any means but I felt it was a lot more slower paced than the older titles. Plus the fact that things often go wrong about 70-80% of the time would have you wondering if Nathan Drake once walked through a hall of mirrors and shattered every single one of them. I guess it makes the story "more interesting" but to me it just made it more annoying and often times felt forced in order to pad out the story. To drag it on as long as humanly possible. I also felt there wasn't as much action in this one. The gun fights felt short and enemies feel more "bullet spongey". Probably to lengthen then short gun battles. The mechanics can also feel pretty clunky at times. However the graphics and visuals are stunning! Other than that, the game is lackluster to say the least. Such is life in modern gaming...

The Suffering: Ties That Bind

Not horrible, but also not great...

This game could've been awesome, but they had to go and ruin it with the two weapon system. Not being able to store Xombium tablets and use them on the go like you could in the original. WHY?! Sure, that didn't necessarily make the game bad, but if it was a core mechanic in the original, WHY CHANGE IT?! Same goes for the weapon system. Really annoying. Not to mention the bullet-sponge enemies. The main reason why the two weapon only system should not have been a thing! It is very unsatisfying depleting nearly all of your ammo on one enemy shouting "Die! DIE! OMG DIE ALREADY! Seriously, STILL not dead?! WTF!" It also doesn't help how they just keep throwing enemy after enemy after enemy after enemy at you. Even enemies that cannot be killed with bullets, you need to use your insanity perk. If your insanity meter is low, you have to kill lower tier enemies. If you're out of ammo, tough! Such an annoying game design! If it wasn't for any of that this game would've been just as great as the first one, but no. They just HAD to go and fix things that weren't broken, didn't they? (Sigh)

We have RE2 Remake at home...

Pretty lackluster to say the least. I got the game for free and I still feel ripped off. I feel sorry for the poor souls who were unfortunate enough to burn $30 on this. Save your money and get something else.

Kingpin: Life of Crime

Rats are deadly!

Got into a shootout. Won with only 1% health left. Went searching for a medkit. Got bitten by a rat and died. Now there's a fist hole in my monitor. 10/10 Would play again!
