I was pleasantly surprised by this. An enjoyable point and click with a good story and lots to discover about the ship, where you are and how you came to be there whilst trying to find the rest of your family. It reminded me a little bit of System Shock in that sense, discovering about the ships with pda logs from dead crew members that you find scattered about. These are also useful for solving puzzles at times as well as generally adding to the over all feel of the game. All in all a really good point and click adventure, no stupid illogical puzzles although the odd time you pick something up before having any idea why you would need to, but I guess that's an inherent problem in these types of gams. I'd say this was the most enjoyable point and click adventure I've played since the Broken Sword days.
This is quite simply the best game I have ever played. Somehow the entire Witcher series had passed me by before I saw the series on sale. I bought the first one to see what they were like. I thoroughly enjoyed it and quickly got Witcher 2. That was even better and before even getting too far I bought Witcher 3. Once I'd finished 2 I got straight into 3 expecting it to be as good as 2. Boy, was I wrong. It blew what was already a great game completely out of the water. You literally live the character, the stories, the side quests, the main story, it's just all incredible. It's jaw droppingly beautiful, brilliantly written and voice acted, very, very funny in places and lots of important decisions to make along the way that effect things as you progress. Some of the side quests have more in them than some entire games. I've been playing games since the days of the Spectrum and this is hands down the greatest game I have ever played. If you haven't got it yet and have any interest in rpg type games then what are you waiting for? With the current sale, I fully recommend getting all three and working through the series each game progresses exponentially in quality until this masterpiece.
