Elvira II: The Jaws of Cerberus

Exceptional Adventure!

This title always was regarded as exceptional adventure for myself and became classic for many gamers through years. It's actually very good connection of adventure with role playing elements. Game was published for many platforms and I personally played it on C-64 microcomputer in the 90's. I also read press reviews for PC, Atari ST and Amiga versions. Elvira II „Jaws of Cerberus”, as you can guess from the title, includes to horror genre. Game features very clear and useful interface which was improved from first part of „Elvira” (point & click). Action field of the screen filled very realistic pictures or animations which quality I admire to these days. Bottom part of the screen filled inventory of collected items and during conversations with npc's showed text of them. Human shape in top left corner of the screen depicted condition of each part of the body. Game plot in exceptional way joined present time (film studio) with fantasy features (magic). Game details above will tell you more about plot. Overall, nowadays I estimate this title on 90/100 percent.
