Nostalgia is certainly playing a role here, as I've installed DoW on every PC I've ever owned. But this is an excellent addition to any gaming library. The changes might not seem like much, when you read them. But trust me, the wider camera + improved Pathfinding alone, makes far more of a difference than I can possibly describe.

This game has aged rather poorly. For instance, the combat is easily the worst part of the game. So isn't it a good thing that's not what you're playing this for. You're playing it for the atmosphere. For the story. For the characters. And to see where the whole Legacy of Kain began.
