One of my favorite games from childhood, played both the DOS version and on Sega. Of course I wanted to try the GOG version. The joystick is detected without problems, but some competitions are broken. Speed skating - on the 3rd circle in front of the gate we are forcibly pulled into the right fence. Biathlon - broken shooting on the 2nd range. High jump and dart throwing - the space bar does not work. How can you sell a broken game without checking its functionality? There will be a 1-star review until GOG fixes everything.
Whatever they say in the System Requirements, I can't start the game on Windows 7 - get the error "0xc0000005" and the game doesn't start. Apparently it was very badly tested, unfortunately on the forum I also didn't find an answer to my problem. I'll try on Windows 10.
Played this game long years ago, as his sequel Dark Omen. Immortal classic. but there something starnge issue - when i deleted the game, Windows tell me what several DLLs don't use by any programs any more and offer to delete them, one of these dll - RLIRM64K.DLL, location Windows/system32/RL. i don't delete anything of dll, and press "No", after this - i checked system32 folder and don't find any of "RL" folder. I'm asking GOG team about it issue, what are these DLL doing, and critical to delete them (by accident) or not for Windows 7.
