The intro was something I'd rather skip next time, but it was a nice tutorial. I didn't get to loot all my opponents due to the cut scenes barging in, but it is what it is. I like the graphics for the most part, and the game play is fairly intuitive. I wish I understood the basic mechanics better, but I reckon I'll learn as I go. 4/5 stars in my book. Looking forward to the sequels.
Darkstone is an understated classic. It has been a favorite in my house for a very long time. We love that it has new and different quests each time we start again. Give it a try! The GoG version works fine on my Windows 10 PC. Be sure to read the manual, as there are some little tricks and shortcuts that will make you crazy if you just plunge in. Great for a casual RPG session alone or with friends. We have a local network in our home and often play together. I give it a very enthusiastic 5 stars!
