I normally don't leave reviews but I had to break my rule for this one. This is such an amazing game. I played Diablo 3 for 2-3 days before I gave up on it since it was so boring. I have been searching for a worthy successor to Diablo 2 for several years and Grim Dawn surpasses any other RPG I have played. The great things about this game: 1) The grim atmosphere really gives a sense of impending doom 2) So many classes to choose from and the ability to create a hybrid by combining to character classes (Currently playing as a Necromancer-Shaman hybrid). 3) Excellent depth. 4) Huge and confusing maps 5) Gameplay is very satisfying - Hack and slash at its finest but it's more than just that. 6) Great skill trees I just can't praise this game enough. I also got the Ashes of Malmouth expansion which is worth every penny. Just buy this one and forget about Diablo 3.
