Does what I want and nothing more. The save system is weird and I wish they'd get around to allowing 3d weapons but the gameplay is just what it should be
Really hoped to like this more. Something in the old Apogee vein, with Abuse like shooting (mouse aim) seemed like it could be a pretty fun deal. But they only ever got World 1 done, with promised future worlds nowhere to be seen. And episode one became a real platforming slog, with far more emphasis on complicated platforming than on the shooting. The control wasn't good enough for that, and the 3d graphics didn't help with precision either. It looks great, and the 3d wouldn't bother me if there wasn't such a heavy emphasis on platforming as it went on. Also the pixelverse (like a hacking minigame) was just a slog every time it was necessary
