From my first moments sitting at my dad's old Packard Bell drawing maps of Spielburg to the day I pledged my undying love to Katrina (Only way to go!) I have loved this series. It will always hold a place in my heart both for it's incessant jokes, it's fantastical adventures, and the gameplay that dabbled in so many game mechanics that are only now popular in the videogame industry. Things such as importing characters, an action game with a quasi-leveling/stat-building character progression, and unique branching paths change your story experience in vastly different and meaningful ways. The Quest for Glory series had it all and it saddens me to see that they are such forgotten classics. So go and discover them now! Find out why those that remember them love them so fiercely!
