Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition

A great game

A better story than FO4 with more "choices" that affect the story outcome.. Not as good as FONV, but still a great game.. Also if you find the game randomly crashing on you, then while the game is running via Task Manager limit the CPU cores to 1 or 2... running FO3 with 3 or more CPU Cores will cause the game to be unstable and crash..

Wing Commander ®: Privateer ™

This was the game in the day!

This game got me to love PC gaming when I was in high school.. I could play this game for hours on end.. My most memorable memory playing this was when popped into a sector piloting a Galaxy (for cargo space) where a Kilrathi capital ship with fighter escorts were engaged with a Confed capital ship also with fighter escorts.. It was the first time see something like this, so kept at a distance watching to see who would win.. Then after some time I get a comlink from a Confed ship ordering me to stand down and prepare to be scanned for contraband, which my entire hold was full of Weapons, Brilliance, and Slaves.. I knew I has to act be they scanned so I attacked.. and somehow after killing enough Confed fighters the Kilrathi became neutral with me in that sector.. I then I brought the fight the Confed capital ship to help my 'new' friends and got the cherry pick kill on it, which made the Kilrathi turn to allied with me for the rest of the game.., Only thing that really sucked was the Confed has bases to land on, the Kilrathi didn't.. Was never able to repeat getting the Kilrathi to be allied with me after that time..

The Bureau: XCOM® Declassified™

Oh wow..

This was hands down the worst X-Com game.. I bought this game day 1 of retail release on steam and it's one of my 20 more regretted games that I've paid for.. This plays nothing like any of the other X-Com games for starters.. The path finding was epic fail, and companions were useless unless manual control was used (even then odds of hitting a target is slim).. Leaving any of the other members of your team not controlled by the player just potatoes that couldn't hit the ground in front of them... I played and uninstalled it back in 2013 after encountering too many other bugs in the game added with the AI and pathfinding fails i couldn't enjoy it then.. Not sure what was or wasn't fixed/patched after I quitting it.. It should have and could have been a great game..

Fallout Tactics

This was one of best games back when..

The entire Fallout game series is great... Which every game up until Fallout 3 was a truly open world leaving you to do what you wanted, kill whoever you wanted and go where you wanted... This game though was when the Childkiller "perk" wasn't included (Only the FO games before had it).. But... This game though had two playstyles in one, where you can play it turn based using action points and maximizing the full benefits of the VATS system (Which starting out is a must for saving ammo).. And there is also real time mode, which a toon with high AP's move and acts faster in realtime than other NPCs/Players with fewer AP's.. The single player game and story was top notch, and multiplayer, oh my.. M-Lagger you aren't missed (Mplayer), but on those game servers you had so many PvP rooms with what "rules" were being used posted in game channel name.. The best ones (my favorite rooms) were the WW2 rules games.. The PvP this game supported though, is what really set it above and apart from all the other games back in its day.. Oh yeah, if you find and fix up das auto, don't leave your gear in it and walk off screen or fast travel.. Car will be there but will be empty of stored gear (learned this in my first play through long long ago)..
