Amazing game. Really glad that gog made it compatible to Windows 10. I played a lot to this game when it was in my old gamer from 2008 to 2015. Great graphics, nice dialogues(the late Leornard Nimoy narrates the games as the player gains new technologies). You can play multiple scenarios and attain differents types of victories mostly time victory but often space victories(if you have an enoufg large empire and avoid too much war) and sometime diplomatic victory. Its easy to play and its way better than the following one Civilisation V.
This is a great simple game. Ok no terrefic grafic but its easy to play and enjoy. Played it way back in 2004 and glad that gog.com adapted it to windows 10. There five scenarios from 1939 to 1944 and you can chose the level of difficulty. Players have choose options like having partisans in USSR and Yugoslavia , having free french troops or chosing if a country will stay neutral or not. Its possible for Germany to win till 1942 but you you play as Germany in 1943 and 44 even at novice difficulty level you will lose. In conclusion this is a simplistic game with crude graphics but an easy and exciting play.
I hated it. First you need to suceed the tutorial to play. When I payed the tutorial it was easy at the beging but the game didn't let me choose my technicians and then made the simulation. I could never fill in the four sqaures with technicians. I prefer the older version at least I can lunch my rockets and do my researchs.
