"Control" is a game that truly shines in its technical execution. The graphics are stunning, with incredible attention to detail with an eerie and surreal atmosphere. The movement feels fluid and responsive, making exploration and combat a joy. Even the menus are clean, intuitive, and a pleasure to navigate However, while I was impressed by the technical side, I found myself completely disconnected from the story and its presentation. The narrative felt abstract to the point of alienation, and the fragmented delivery through cryptic cutscenes and scattered documents only added to my sense of detachment. I’m sure there’s depth here that will resonate with some, but it didn’t click for me.
