I've played this in 2004 & 2025 and it's still the best Heroes game of all time. It has great depth and still easily approachable for newcomers. Later entries get convoluted and ugly as sin. I have heard there is an HD mod to make this look even better, but I haven't persued that yet. The original Heroes of M&M I-III are worth it in every sense of the word.
I grew up playing this game with my brother and childhood friend. I'm happy to say it holds up as an enjoyable strategy.
