I haven't played the original, but this remake hits in all the same ways as BioShock, Prey, and the other games inspired by the original System Shock. Nightdive has done a terrific job in making the game feel modern, and it looks absolutely incredible.
Fantastic puzzles and compelling writing make this a great sequel to The Talos Principle, which was already one of the best puzzle games of recent years.
