Literally within two minutes of starting to play the game - go to exit the bar to the street and the game “Flatlines” crashes to desktop. Does this every time I try to start again so can not progress any further. Wanted to support CDPR and so pre ordered this game a year ago (Only ever game I have Pre ordered, and will never again). Waited patiently through the delays thinking that we would get a good game when released – boy was I wrong. So very disappointed with CDPR.
I am thoroughly enjoying this game. Yes it is hard to understand how to play just from the tutorial which is severely lacking but if you persevere and use YouTube etc. it is a great in depth game with Many mechanics and depth. The real problem is the Paradox front end launcher which prevents it working with GOG Galaxy properly. Use the Paradox front end and GOG galaxy will not record Time Played, Cloud sync or List Trophies achieved. If you by pass the front end and just launch the game directly Galaxy will record the Time Played but again will not show Trophies or allow cloud sync. It gives me the impression that Paradox is forcing you to use there front end and bypassing GOG Galaxy. It would appear that the same problem applies to ANY Paradox game that uses the same front end. The price of this game can mount up but it does seem to be on sale regularly and you just need to be selective with the DLC that you choose to buy.
My PC meets all the required specs but the game crashes on startup. Bought this and “Life is Strange – Complete Season” both do not work. Theses are the first games from GOG that I have had Issues with.

The Steam version of this game works perfectly so its something with the GOG version! This is the first game I have had problems with from GOG. That said, I also bought “Before the Storm – Deluxe Version” at the same time and that does not work as well.
This is very much in the style of Fallout 1 & 2. Gameplay seemed quite well balanced to me. I had no quests that were impossible to complete if approached in the right way. Also I had no bugs or glitches with quests. I did have a couple of minor Graphical bugs but nothing game breaking. The tutorial tips however could have been much better. Half way through the game I was finding I could do things that I was not aware of earlier on because none of the tips mentioned it. I have always liked the Turn Based RPG style game and this definitely scratched the itch. I got a good 70 hours plus of enjoyment out of this game.

I have not played the original Xenonauts so can not compare it to that. To me it seems very much in the vein of x-com which I enjoyed. The demo was short but enjoyable. First time I tried playing I was put off by the lack of a good tutorial, but came back to the game a few days latter and tried again. I am glad I did. Cant say anything about the Strategic Management or Research Tree as this was not in the demo. I would of liked to of seen more content in the demo before making my mind up if to purchase the game when it comes out. As it stands I will wait to see more of the game before making my mind up.
From the way CDPR treats its customers, Free DLC, No Micro transactions, Good quality paid for DLC, to the quality of this game itself is outstanding. This game has amazing story telling, great graphics, totally immersive world building. Obviously if your not into RPG / Fantasy then it wont be for you However if you are it is without a doubt the best I have ever played - and my first RPG was “Colossal Cave Adventure” way before most of you were born on here LOL.
