I've played all 3 games back when they were originally released in the late 1990's and absolutely LOVED the original game while the two follow ups were just okay... I re-bought Tomb Raider 1-2-3 recently on sale and was ready for a replay of all three games after 20+ years... The original Tomb Raider is still a joy to play and holds up after all these years...It is a third person exploration game with some third person shooter elements to keep you on your toes...A perfect blend for MY tastes... Unfortunately...In Tomb Raider 2 the Devs flipped the script and over emphasized third person shooting over exploration and changed the game dramatically...Tomb Raider 2 turned into frustrating ambushes and timed sequences which you would have to replay OVER an OVER again...Dying by gunfire or drowning...Reloading it until you did it just right...Trust me it was no fun if you played it on your PC... Which brings me to Tomb Raider 3 GOG version... It will NOT let me remap the keys... An absolute MAJOR no-no in PC gaming... I see some MODs that might let me remap keys but not sure... If remapping keys is not a big deal to you then I think you'll like Tomb Raider 3 better than TR2... Anyhow... Tomb Raider....... 10/10 Tomb Raider 2... 5/10 Tomb Raider 3... 7/10
