Worth playing for any fan of the Survival Horror genre. It still holds up to play today. The drip feed of items and steady progression are just peak. It was eventually outdone by REmake, spearheaded by Mikami as well, but since the two are quite different, this one still has a lot of value in playing. I recommend playing with the Classic REbirth community patch to get the best experience.
