I saw some negative reviews but decided to give Murder on Eridanos a shot, and I'm glad I did. It's a nice change of pace from the regular gameplay and the Gorgon chapter. The scenery, as always, was beautiful and the storyline relatively clever (for someone like me who doesn't worry about solving the mystery immediately). The enemies were fairly easy to defeat but it was still an interesting gameplay and worth the purchase for me. I love the game and give that a 9.5/10, and this is about an 8/10.
The first game of this type I've ever played, and I bought it based on a friend's game play. I was fascinated by the possibilities of the story options and choices I could make, and though there was a lot of laughing because of the cleverness of the writers, there was some sad parts too. There were some hard choices to be made, and even after I made them I wasn't sure I had done what I thought was the right thing. I finally completed the game with my third character and after over 100 hours of gameplay. I enjoyed just wandering around the barren landscapes, enjoying the scenery and, uh, the target practice. I will definitely replay it and see what other different outcomes I can get.
