I really enjoyed the remake of X-Com that Firaxis did. This continues here. The hacking mechanic, the slight changes to the soldier types, and the "rebel faction" are fun changes to teh game dynamic. There are some QOL updates to combat as well that are welcome. Small things but meaningful like the sniper role automatically swapping to thier sidearm for Overwatch after movement. I'm a bit let down by the "base maintenace/deveopment" mechanic. A bit too intrusive and having to get individual engineers a scientists is a bit annoying. Still a solid game.
