As someone who really enjoyed system shock remake and system shock 2, I never looked into this game before. Ive heard of it but seeing as its on sale I figured why not. Well this game is awesome. Im only a few hours in and I am hooked. Arkane studios was such a legendary studio. I spent 8 dollars on this game and its DLC and I couldnt be happier!!
Its Doom, Doom 2, Final Doom, and multiple new levels weapons enemies etc. It has the ID vault which for people who grew up with Doom, is SO cool to see all the concept art and ideas ID came up with. Runs super smooth, has mouse aim, and it's all around awesome. Not a fan of needing to be logged into bethesda.net to use mods but its whatever. You could also use the WAD files and run brutal doom/project brutality anyways. But yeah, Nightdive Studios is AMAZING and what they're doing with games from my childhood is just awesome!
I grew up in the days of 486 Mhz CPUs, shareware doom on floppy disks, and DOS command prompts, so this game is RIGHT up my alley. It's not ground breaking, but its fun, it's funny, its an old school FPS game. Anyone who can relate to me, or is interested, definitely pick this game up!
