The gameplay itself is great and I love it, but it has 2 major bugs that I'm consistently being hit with. The first bug is that the game will crash due to a memory read/write error shortly after being booted unless the display mode is changed (Fullscreen, Borderless, Windowed). The second is that I seem to be accelerating backwards and left while in microgravity anytime I look down or move backwards. That speed accumulates until I fire any gun, where it is abruptly reset. If I ever run out of ammo in Microgravity, I will likely be soft-locked. Pros: + Great Immersive Sim Systems + Exellent Crafting/Recycling System + Mimics are a super well designed enemy + Great Weapon Variety + Great Skill System Cons: - Major bugs - Enemy visual variety is bland
Game feels really well designed and as a 4X scrub, I like the extra difficulty settings that AoW3 didnt have. Game has some visual clutter problems even with visible hex grid turned on its difficult to see what is happening in a way that AoW3 didnt have.
