I was initially to give this game 5/5, yes it has some problems in keeping balance and voice acting is wishful, but then after 19 hours playing I encountered a game breaking bug that is apparently known and unfixed since 2015!!.. I am speechless...
Reign of Giants makes Stones renewable, adds two additional seasons, makes Summer harder to survive than Winter and adds Three additional Giants (in addition to Deerclops). However, instead of purchasing this DLC - especially if you have not purchased Dont Starve yet - consider getting "Dont Starve Alone Pack", which includes everything and includes this DLC as well as Shipwrecked. You'll get even better bang for the buck!
Review as of 14.07: SimCity is a really great game, somewhat between old but good SC2000 and 3d-ish SC4. Its also more forgiving than both previously mentioned titles. I have spent many hours playing it in my childhood and don't regret it. However, this game was released for Linux and this port is not present in the release. While (if I remember correctly) still relying on older OSS, OSS can be easily emulated today with OSSD. So please GOG, bring us the Linux port ! : /
