Mafia 3 is the defintion of an AA game. You will not get the best game mechanics, but you will get a solid story, with a mediocre and repetitive gameplay loop that gets the job done for the 25 hours you will need to complete this game. Sadly, it's still a missed opportunity; the lack of polish in the gunplay is evident and the cut corners are present every step of the way through the main story. This could've been a real blockbuster with just a bit more variety and attention to detail, the setting and the premise are perfect and deserve more, but 2K and Hangar 13 sadly underdelivered. Besides this, I'm still giving it 4 stars because I love the franchise.
