Several reviews claim you can't change the controls, but this is totally false. In the main menu, you go to "Options" then you go to "Redefine Keys" and the rest of the process is very simple. As for the game itself - I gave it 5/5 so what more do you need? :)
The final part(so far, at least) of the Legacy of Kain series is finally on GOG! An excellent game, with great graphics(albeit not as good as Soul Reaver 2 in the artistic direction) an excellent gameplay(you get to play as both Raziel and Kain), and the same amazing voice-acting that can be found in all the Legacy of Kain games. The game has one bug however( unless they fixed it in this version that's on GOG) and that is the camera control, which sometimes gives you a hard time in the platforming parts. This problem seems to be more bothersome while playing with Kain, although that might be just an impression. Still, by no means a game-breaking bug. A great game, terribly under-priced at just 5.99, buy it NOW!
Those of you who already played Darwinia know what to expect. The rest of you... Buy it, and you're gonna get one of the best indie strategy games ever made. And just to make it clear, you CAN play it offline.
The game has 3 core campaigns, Allies, Soviet and German. It includes virtually no base building, the accent being on troop positioning, as well as proper timing of offensive actions, knowing how to position land mines and other things, using air support, etc. Each unit of each side speaks in it's own language(germans speak in german, americans&brits in english,soviets in russian) which makes the game very immersive. All in all, an excellent game, a must-buy for any strategy fan.
This is an excellent hack'n slash RPG, and everybody who likes Diablo, Sacred or Titan Quest should buy this ASAP.
This game is a steal at 6$. It's more puzzle-oriented than the first one, and it has a little more backtracking than the first one, which was criticized by a few people. Still, this is an incredible game, with some of the best voice-acting ever, sublime graphics not just regarding the technical aspects but also the artistic direction, which is superior to all the other games of the series. Buy it, buy the first one as well if you haven't already, and enjoy one of the greatest experiences gaming can offer.
One of my favorite childhood games, and still a great game even today, a must-have in any TBS fan's collection. Although the title is a little incorrect, in the sense that it was actually Bryan Reynolds who did most of the work, with Sid Meyer being more second in command, i'm happy to see it here. Buy it now!
Many people may not remember this game, but it did OK when it was first launched in 1996(not in 1997, as the gamecard says). I remember it being a pretty entertaining game, with diverse gameplay and nice graphics, which employ a lot of strong colors, without becoming an eye-sore. Probably not for everyone, but if you like platformers with above-average originality, this will be 6$ well-spent.
Was made to piss of imbeciles. After reading some of reviews here, i can clearly state it did it's job. To anybody considering buying it, all i can say is that it's not nearly as buggy as some people claim(although i suspect that might not be their main issue about it) and that if extreme violence is not an issue for you, then it's worth the 10$.
