Cyberpunk 2077

Broken expectations, but still ok

Paid all its money. If you don't want to get dissapointed just run thrugh main campaign, its done perfectly: cinematic cut scenes, proffesional voice over, atmospheric music — all of this makes campaign quest line a bit of masterpirce. But whole other things are broken and I advice you to avoid it like corpos.

Ash of Gods: Redemption

Beautiful arts and that's it

Great arts and a lot of uncertain mechanics, such as cards. Awful dialogues, sometimes difficult to read without breaking immersive. Terrible women objectivisation: "see?! we making it like witcher/GoT!" but they missed something that was in witcher or game of thrones, maybe other dark fantasy attributes? Base plot features "inspired" by Banner Saga: main main characters are dad and his doughter, god stones/menhirs, the end of world and war, prince in a party, etc. Its too many coincidences to say its just inspiration. I would like to refund, but I gave this game too many chances(almost 30 hours) trying to get atleast something.

Disco Elysium - The Final Cut

Better to define genre first

At first I though it's another obsidian/bioware like rpg not deserving any attention. But then I learned that this game is "fight mechanics free"! It means that developers spend all resources to make best visual and audio accompaniment and strong narrative. And I was right! Best story since Tyranny, best visuals since Banner Saga and perfect sound, even dialogs. But be careful, its not an action-rpg.
