There's a lot of reasons to play Worms: Armageddon today. One of them is the fact that this game is maintained exclusively by the community, and not by the increasingly unreliable Team17. Therefore, a lot of the archaic problems such as having to port forward have been fixed by mods such as WormNAT2 and HostingBuddy. This makes the game easier to hop onto than the miserable WWP Remastered. The other one is the newly (?) introduced Expanded Scheme Options. They allow for a level of customizability unseen in any other Worms game. Finally, the community uses these options for all they're worth. My favorite examples are: - Rope Race, which has you use the rope to reach the end in the shortest time. - Hysteria, where you have only 1 second to make the move. - Kaos, which uses the newly introduced Multishot feature to its advantage. There's also modules, which add a lot of new features, such as custom terrains, HD menus or even REALTIME WORMS. The community really makes this game the timeless classic that it is.
