First off, "boredgunner's" review is BS....Trepang2 is most certainly *not* a successor to FEAR (or FEAR 2 for that matter), but something very special in its own right. I'd say it's definitely a "love letter" to those games (and Crysis to an extent). Sounds cliche, but it's true. The campaign was fantastic, just a perfect blend of action and horror. The endless levels are a blast to play, just like the demo. I will say, though, that the final boss was a bit too tough (and borderline frustrating to kill), but that's a very minor criticism. All in all, this game deserves a seat at the table along with the other aformentioned legendary FPSs. -LP
