While this game was plagued with issues on initial release, it has been thoroughly improved since then. This has to be one of the best looking, engaging, and immersive gaming experiences out there in 2023, and in a game technically released in 2020 is even more impressive. The capitalistic dystopian world is fantastically recreated in amazing detail, and the characters are written in a way to fits in very naturally. The motion capture and acting is also such a good example of how it can be done really well. Not only does the main story line have great scenes that super engaging, but the attention to detail on nearly every side mission shows a lot of care was put into a very expansive game to create a unique experience. The genre of Cyberpunk is not an easy one to tackle, but this game has done a fantastic job showing the dark side of what societies can become if too much power is given to market forces, along with companies who recursively leverage technology and wealth to grow their influence on people's everyday lives.
