There is quite a lot of polish to be given to the game and there are quite a few bugs (most of those have answers/work-around on the official discord server's "tech support" channel for Riftbreakers), but overall, as the title states, I had a blast with the game. The base building/management, resource securing, upgrade tree and Mech action all clicked with me to provide one of the more enjoyable experiences I've had lately, bugs and all. Would definitely recommend. If you get it on a discount, even more so.
I played it back in the day and I can safely say that it's an amazing game.
