Everything I love about the RPGs I grew up with in the 90s is here, with lots to make it feel fresh and new. The "overdrive" system in battle is fun, and the battle mechanics themselves make everything feel action-packed, dramatic, and intese. The writing so far has been great, as has the music, environments, and character. The people involved in this game have a clear love of the SNES/PS1 era RPGs, and a love for how they tell stories.
