Love this game. I've been playing since early access, and I've seen the game change a lot. I develped a trademark strategy early on--I seldom deviate from it. Playing the same game the same way every time always brings a new and more interesting experience with each update. I'm consistently impressed with the level of detail each update has brought, and the attention to balance. Even mechanics that I thought would make the game way too intricate (like introducing social interactions between colonists or getting super specific about injuries) has only made the game fuller and more interesting. Now out of early access, RimWorld is a powerhouse of a colony sim. I love the freedom of it, and I love the passion that Tynan Sylvester has put into it. I definitely recommend giving this a try. Play it through vanilla a few times, then try the incredible mods that the community has produced!
