For a game from 2010 it still holds up extremely well with its creepy sound design, anxiety inducing atmosphere / ambience, intense and also sometimes relaxing music :) 18th century haunted castle location along with some creepy ass monster designs. Amnesia also has a really interesting story that unfolds throughout the game with exploration / puzzle solving and some fantastic voice over work from the proatagonist in the diary entrys, really helped with the atmosphere and setting. Speaking of puzzles this has some of the most enjoyable in a horror game ive experienced in a while, having to interact with the environement or throughuly search / read to solve said puzzle made them the all more satisfying to complete, nice change of pace from modern horror games making puzzles so easy they're a pushover and forgettable. Overall a must play for horror enthusiasts you owe it to yourself to check out Amnesia its a horror classic for a reason and I can see why this game had the impact that it did, playing it over 10 years later it still holds up incredibly well and still be intense to playthrough.
