Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition

Masterpiece

Pros: - Vast amount of different ways to interact with the world, moving objects, finding hidden things, telekinesis, teleportation, persuation (in dialogs), casting combat skills outside of combat to yield an unique effect, thievery, talking with animals and much more. - Addictive combat. When playing DOS: EE I was sure that there's nothing else to change in such combat system, but I was wrong. Blessed and cursed surfaces, many skills in each school for fast tactical movement on the battlefield, polymorph school and much more. - Four different races, undead or alive. Tags which give unique dialog options. Pre-built chars with unique storylines. - Writing has improved from DOS: EE - In windowed mode you can freely resize game window and it will work fine for any "resolution". Cons: - As for now (2017-10-04) it has its bugs, but TBH I cannot remember any CRPG which came out completely done and bug-free, not in 20th century, not in the current. Do you? That said, Larian is known to be very open to any feedback, and they fix things pretty fast. So, just tell them if you spot anything. - Performance. At least on 4k the framerates are lower than I have anticipated, I was under impression that my gtx1060 would be enough to have 60fps@4k. I was wrong. - As I've mentioned, writing is better that in its predecessor, but still I haven't that much enjoyed the story. Maybe it's just me. In short: One of the greatest CRPGs ever.

The Darkside Detective

The true heir to the first MIB movie

Allegedly it's not for everyone. It's very minimalistic, but everything that is there is brilliant (lack of voice-over is a bummer though). Humor got me many times, hardcore pixelated and scanlined artwork is gorgeous, music is perfect. Time well spent.

The game that should be a book

I'm an active gamer since the early 90's, but I've never seen such a good story in a game industry. Ever! It's not very original, it's not something that would blow my mind away, but.. It's just solid, well-made, full of details and memorable characters. As for the adventure gameplay, it's very logical and maybe even trivial, but puzzles here just accompany main story, so it's perfectly fine.

Dark, deep and intriguing

Not much to criticize here - almost perfect adventure game, IMO. The story, setting, characters, dialogues seems to be very polished and rich with the details, which is a very rare trait for a modern game. Voice acting is marvelous. Puzzles and other adventure content is also quite good, though it contains some slightly annoying pixel hunting somewhere, but it's manageable.
