Inferno - Beyond the 7th Circle

An excellent Grid Dungeon Crawl.

I have played more RPG games than I can remember in 45 years of gaming. This game has that one more turn feel as well as a true sense of building a powerful character. The graphics are nice and creepy and the balance and difficulty are just right for me. I think this game has soul and heart and is an old school gamers wet dream. Give it a try and use your brain to build the perfect hero/explorer for mankind that is left; the monsters killed most of them. Happy hunting.

Depth of Extinction

An excellent newold game.

This game has alot of the charm that makes you smile when playing. An X-Com with rogue qualities. It also has some of the personallity of such games as Jagged Alliance, as it makes you care about your soldiers. When on dies, you feel the loss. The map travel is almost exactly like FTL. It's done well, and seems to be fair. I like the decision making on where to go next, giving it a open world feel. The graphics are ok but the music sets the tone and is very well done. With so few games of this type being released, one can overlook the small room for improvement that all games have. I have played many, and this one is worth a look , if you like this genre then its a must try. Thank you HOF Studios for a game that makes me remember the golden age of gaming.

Tangledeep

An excellent Rogue!

This is one of the best rogues I've played lately. I love the genre, and have played them all. This game is not even finished and it shines with tender loving care. The developers have obviously put their best work in to make it all they envisioned. This is one of my few reviews, as I seldom feel motivated to comment. In this case I have very little to rate as bad. It is not finished, so it can only get better. Good job. P.S. If you don't like or understand rogues, then don't review them Mr badoldrobot.

Grim Dawn

The Life I Dreamed .

Grim Dawn is the life I dreamed 20 years ago when I first played an action role playing game. You can live the life of whatever hero/anti-hero you ever imagined within the confines of this world. The thought the developers put into this game is amazing. I have never in 20 years of computer gaming, played a game with such fun and depth in this particular genre. My faith in computer gaming is restored, and now I shall explore the world the game offers with a zeal I haven't felt in years. I don't mean to gush like a fan boy, however this game deserves all the attention it is getting. As a last comment, I would like to add that I seldom if ever feel moved to write a review. Get this game and live the life you want, knowing the game gives you the tools and world to truly thrive as a hero. You will not be disappointed.

Aarklash: Legacy

AARKLASH: LEGACY

I have seldom enjoyed a games fighting mechanics as well as I have this game. It is simple, yet strategic at the same time. For a modern R PG this game really brings back feelings of the classics gone by. I would say if you like action and strategy combined, this game is for you. Not a lot of depth to the story, but it does the job. Good graphics and effects without taking up 20 gigs of hard drive. One of my favorite games this year.
