Grim Dawn = Top 10 Game!
I own Grim Dawn on GOG (I bought it here 1st) and on Steam (for Multiplayer mainly, though there is now Cross-play available). I have all the DLC content.
The first day I installed and played Grim Dawn, I wasn't sure at first, as with most games. Happily, that didn't last long! :D Within a couple minutes, the combat began, useful rewards dropped and I had a big adrenaline rush! I didn't stop playing for hours. I couldn't!
I have been a gamer for decades. There have been other games that grabbed me as much as Grim Dawn has, some I still play now & then (many legendary games I got here on GOG so I could play them on current systems).
Why do I like GD? I played my first Computer game in 1978 on a Mainframe terminal at College (called ADVENT - the Colossal Caves Adventure). I am now happily retired and a "full time Gamer". :D ;)
GD is a rare game that I began playing in 2017, and still play regularly. Mostly Multiplayer with a group of friends, or with a full-conversion MOD (such as Warhammer 40,000 Global Conversion, or Reign of Terror (Diablo 1/2 Conversion Mod.) etc!
I also use other mod's depending various reasons (way too many to mention here!) It's like a Game Framework for me now. I can play it any way I want to! If there is anything in GD you wish was different, faster, slower, more of, etc. etc. There is likely a MOD for that! They are easy to use and work, most also support languages other than English if needed.
Summary: Crate delivered a game as they said it would be. Crate update as required to either fix any issue that may come up, improve the game performance, visuals etc. Crate listen to players and do something as needed. The game is incredibly low price for what you get! And doesn't always increase price because the Exec's need a new Mansion!! :/
If you do decide to but Grim Dawn, play it and if you really enjoy it, please support Crate Entertainment and get the cheap supporter Packs. The Game expansion DLC's are also very much worth it once you have decided it's a keeper. :D
PS: I have nothing to do with Crate Entertainment in any way other than a customer. A very happy customer! I like Crate Entertainment as much as, or more than, I totally despise E-A and other so-called AAA Corporate's! :-/
