No man's sky is an immersive audiovisual experience, a dreamlike feeling oriented with a narrative adventure. For those who love to travel and discover new worlds, new species, new star systems, in a wide open unlimited universe. Every place are unique scenery to contemplate in colorful scheme, world sound reinforcing immersion to deep space and the story let you touch the infinity of space. Technically it as a basic fps with craft and survival mode but it is more than a simple game. 3D Engine (Havok) isn't the best but the atmosperic ambiance setting give NMS a unique fantasy rendering polished by an indie company . I like sand box simulator like Space engineers, kerbal or Planet explorers and NMS is now in my catalogue too. Have Fun !
