A classic first person shooter. It takes after quake in many ways. From the hordes of enemies to the giant bosses this game seems more like a sequel to quake then quake II did. Plus as an added bonus this game has great graphics for an older game. I would recommend it to anyone who likes these old school shooters. Not really a strategic game but then again mindless violence is what its made for.
Before i write this review let me state that i played fallout 3 and NV before any of the originals. And i was kind of expecting it to be a bit like diablo II. I was wrong, but in a good way. When i first played this game i was quite surprised by how slow everything was. The traveling from one place to another really bothered me. I loved the vast expanses in FO3. Then I finally got into a fight. I was in shady sands fighting radscorpions. It was a very tense moment as i would draw one away and try to shoot it to death before it reached me. The game isn't very easy the first time around. But a challenge only makes you better. I killed the scorpions and finished the mission. These moments really drew me into the game so despite the games draw backs its still worth playing through.
