Already have beaten the game on EGS and now I'm playing the dlc Road to Gehenna on GOG Galaxy. The Talos Principle is an outstanding sci-fi philosophical puzzle game, with challenging puzzles and creative design. A lot of people complain about the dlc being too difficult but honestly, if you were able to finish the main game, you're more than capable of finishing the dlc too. It's not that unfair. I still prefer the main game puzzles though. If you bought this game, got it for free, or you're thinking about buying it, don't hesitate. It's gonna be a nice ride.
Original Mafia is still better in almost every way. I'm by no means nostalgic, since I've played both versions this year (2024). The remake is way easier, driving is not satisfying, Lucas Bertone missions are gone, gunshop is gone, story changed a lot, last monologue was changed too. At least we get to see way more of Sarah. Graphics are pretty and controls are ok for the most time, but that's it. If you like old games I still suggest you to get the original.
I don't know how I went so long without playing this gem. This is peak western RPG and everybody should play it. There's so much freedom and personality in every corner. Also it's way less buggy than I expected from a Bethesda Game Studios game. I played about 40 hours so far and it just crashed once. Compared to what I've heard from people who played the Steam version, this is heaven! Just play this already, you won't regret it.
