Got this game after patch 1.23. 78 hours later I just finished. Loved every minute of this glorious graphical sensational story telling phenomenon that was totally immersive and captivating! Invest in the character stories - River, Panam, Rogue and respect your choom Jackie! Be cool to Johnny - or not. Do the side missions and Gigs or you will be missing at least half the game. The missions are worth it! Yes, there were some minor glitches with invisible cigarettes being lit by invisible lighters and a few other weird issues, but nothing game breaking or that detracted from the immersion. Can only speak for myself, but this is one of my favorite games in a long time! Well done CD Projekt! Can't wait for the future patches and DLC!!
Loved this game until I hated it. Rediculous difficulty spike in later story missions combined with piss poor level design ruined the game for me. No time for stupid level designs and missions that are too hard. Too many other better games to spend time playing. Was considering buying expansions, but glad I waited. If I can't finish the campaign, why buy expansions? Uninstalled and utterly dissapointed with this game. Too bad after almost 70 hours of gameplay.
This is not a negative review - the game is great. I have played Diablo III for years now and this game is every bit as fun - if not better in some ways. That said, I can play D3, SC II, WOW, Guild Wars, Witcher 3 and most other games on Ultra or at least very high graphic settings for hours on end without overheating issues. This game spikes my GPU temps after just 10 minutes with graphic settings on medium. The game does not appear to be optimized very well - for at least my graphics card. Please fix this!! This game is really fun and I want to finish it without melting my GPU.
