This is NOT as the name suggests a collection of Mortal Kombat 1 - 3 but a standalone game that just contains characters from all three games. It's a bit like selling something called the "Star Wars Trilogy" but its just Return of the Jedi with characters from the other two films. They should really make this clear on the product page.
