The mod is incredibly well done. You can feel the love in every square meter of the world, every single quest. The mod surpasses the quality of the original G2 most of the time. However, it is way too long and has serious pacing issues. At some point, I just want to progress with the story and not give soup to poor people or prove myself to yet another faction. If you think more is always better, this will not be a problem for you. Quest design sometimes is a little weird, especially with the choices you can make and their consequences. Characters stay pretty flat - this is still more Gothic than Witcher. I give it 5 stars beacause it is a free fan project. For a proper game, this would be 4 stars. Anyway, a must play if you are a Gothic fan.
Story and characters are promising, but the game just is not fun. Everything is clunky and annoying and overly complex while at the same time, nothing really matters. I really wanted to see the story develop, but I am not going to fight through this mess any longer. I give up. Maybe you like it - I dont.
